Exercise remains one of the most underutilized yet profoundly effective tools we have for transforming human health. Its impact extends beyond the physical - it reshapes the architecture of the mind, enhances our capacity for resilience, and elevates our sense of agency in the world. My purpose is to harness this power of movement to improve the physical, psychological, and social well-being of others.
This mission is inseparable from a deeper curiosity: how does exercise exert such wide-ranging and lasting effects on our physiology? That question has guided my doctoral research into the molecular mechanisms by which exercise modulates immune function, particularly in the context of osteoarthritis and obesity. My focus was on understanding how physical activity alters the expression and behaviour of membrane channels - specifically, pannexins - that mediate communication between resident tissue cells and the immune cells. I now use this deep knowledge and rigorous training to help my client navigate a health and fitness world plagued by misinformation.s
My work now lives at the intersection of science, performance, and human potential. I help high-achieving professionals discover their true potential, reclaim their physical capacity, build lasting strength, and extend their healthspan through personalized, evidence-based training. With an eclectic background as a high-level athlete, clinician, and researcher, I bridge the gap between theory and practice - using both data and human connection to guide people toward a more powerful experience of themselves.
